Mapledurham Financial Planning Limited, my own company, (using the help and assistance of the Quilter Financial Planning network), was formed on the 26th August 2025 after many years (over 25!) working for a larger financial services company, owned by Private Equity, which lead eventually to disillusionment and concerns about what is really the best for clients.

John Barry Laverick is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance institute and a Chartered Financial Planner and I started in the industry in 1988 working for a life office and has been a financial planner for over 30 years.

The aim of the business is to be always there for clients and provide good quality guidance and advice and coaching to help clients through the many trials and tribulations in life and help clients reach a secure and enjoyable retirement.

Where possible the business will be as environmentally sustainable as possible.

The company's mission statement is to provide quality, cost competitive advice with the goal of financial security for clients and their families.
